Youth soccer players are not as confident as they should be in front of goal. This is due to a lack of proper instruction and training emphasis on striking/finishing. The fault does not lie with team coaches, as they have to focus on tactics and techniques that best suit the team as a whole
I aspired to establish a youth soccer program in the area that focuses exclusively on developing attacking skills. I firmly believe that confidence in front of the goal translates to confidence throughout the field, regardless of a player's position. By providing proper guidance and consistent practice with shooting drills, players will cultivate and trust their attacking instincts in the final third of the field
That's the motivation behind founding AOT Soccer. I aimed to merge my deep love for soccer, years of professional playing experience, and over two decades of coaching expertise into an attacking-oriented program tailored for young players. Now, I'm thrilled to offer training to youth soccer enthusiasts, helping them refine their finishing skills and develop the confidence and mental grit needed in front of the goal
Anyone can (and should) dedicate time to refining their soccer abilities independently if they aim to surpass their rivals. Whether it involves improving footwork, perfecting passing and dribbling techniques, or mastering other fundamental skills, these are essential for becoming an elite technical player. I recall spending countless hours on the street outside my home, repeatedly striking the ball against the curb. Nevertheless, achieving proficiency in scoring goals at an advanced level isn't as straightforward when self-teaching. I can attest to this firsthand, as my journey was a lengthy and seemingly endless endeavor!
I'm deeply passionate about instilling confidence in players when they're in front of the goal. I firmly believe that "scoring a goal is tougher than conceding one." Irrespective of your position on the field, mastering the art of being a prolific goal scorer in and around the goal is crucial for success and self-confidence on the pitch. While team training, led by recreation, club, or school coaches, typically focuses on the collective needs of the team, it often lacks the specific emphasis on developing the techniques required to excel as a goal scorer.
Therefore, receiving the proper instruction and consistently taking 40, 50, or even 60 shots can significantly refine and enhance your striking abilities. This will ultimately make you a reliable goal scorer for your team(s)!
The sessions will cover a range of skills, including:
